Transponder & One Way Radios...
Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks and Mini Stocks must have a mylaps car racing transponder to compete. Transponders are available for purchase or rent at mylaps.com. Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks, Street Stocks and Young Guns must have a one way radio for communication from the tower. All other divisions are allowed two way radios however they must be programmed to hear communication from the tower. If you do not have a two way radio competitors must have a one way radio. One way radios are available for purchase at the speedway's office.
If you have not sent your NASCAR License application in yet to NASCAR, please do not send it as you may not receive it back in time to prove you have a NASCAR license. Bring the application to the track on the Test & Tune Session or opening day and we will process and issue you a temporay license. Competitrs who held a license last year can renew online at nascarmembers.com (if you renewed online, be sure to print out the confirmation for proof). For competitors who would like to try the track out without purchasing a full NASCAR license. The speedway can issue a 15 day temporary license ( Charger License $25 or Feature Division $50). If you decide to upgrade to a full license the money paid on the temporary one goes toward the total cost. ALL NASCAR MEMBERS PURCHASING A PIT TICKET MUST SHOW PROOF OF NASCAR LICENSE AT THE PIT WINDOW, ALL COMPETITORS (EXCEPT FOR YOUNG GUNS) WILL ALSO NEED TO SHOW PROOF OF A NASCAR LICENSE WHEN SIGNING IN TO COMPETE AT THE HANDICAP TOWER.
