***Attention
Mini Stock Competitors...This past
weekend (3/2/13) management met with representatives from Hoosier
Tires regarding the the new track tire for the 2013 season and the
size of the wheels. In the discussion, the representatives
strongly encouraged that the tires be mounted on 7" wheels rather
than the 8" wheels to keep the integrity of the tire from caving in
which will result in tire issues during the season. After the
discussion, the speedway management and tech team met and made the
decision to keep all wheels 7" (no 8" wheels allowed) and offer competitors the choice to
use 23.5/7.0-13 RIB 800 Series on the right sides only for stagger
if needed. The left side tires will be the 23.0/7.0-13 RIB 800
Series. We apologize for the confusion however, we want to
make sure the competitors have the ability to maintain the integrity
of the tires without having tire issues that would result in
competitors spending more money to replace tires. If you
have emailed us with an initial order, please email us back to let
us know how many you need by sizes listed above.
COMPETITORS MAY USE YOUR 2012 USED AMERICAN RACERS UNTIL JUNE
22, 2013 EVENT WITH THE 7" WHEELS AND THE ONE 8" WHEEL FOR STAGGER.
UPDATE (3/11/13): COMPETITORS MAY USE A 7"
STEEL BEADED WHEEL MINIMUM WEIGHT 13LBS. FRONT WHEEL CARS USING A 7"
STEEL BEADED WHEEL MUST HAVE THE FRONT RIGHT SIDE WHEEL REINFORCED.
